Tile Space is one of the UK’s leading suppliers of high-quality porcelain tiles and paving solutions. With a strong presence across both residential and commercial markets, the brand has built a reputation founded on excellence, reliability, and innovation.
Tile Space is part of Qua Ceramics, a long-term VXLAB partner for over five years, with whom we have developed numerous projects around the world. On this occasion, the challenge took us to the United Kingdom, where the brand is undergoing a significant phase of expansion. As a hub of materials and finishes, Tile Space required a brand evolution that could reflect its growth and strategic positioning.
The rebranding was anchored in a central idea: to communicate the brand’s ability to shape and define space. From this concept, we built a geometric “T”, a symbol of modularity and construction, inspired by Japanese Tangram puzzles, where different pieces fit together to create new forms. Tile Space embraces a similar creative spirit, where diverse materials and finishes come together to build unique environments.
The new identity is based on a “T” composed of three rectangular modules, which can be deconstructed and adapted to function as a dynamic container for brand assets such as textures, imagery, and messaging.
Visually, the brand gains solidity, presence, and volume. One of the key objectives of the rebranding was to give the identity an architectural and spatial dimension, capable of expressing the material essence of the product. To achieve this, we developed a series of pieces in which the identity absorbs the materials themselves — marble, stone, or wood — as an integral part of its visual language.
Tile Space now positions itself as a center of creativity, where design and material converge to transform the two-dimensional into three-dimensional — from plan to space, from material to home.
