Tribute | A Cardboard Pavilion Design "Falla" by Pink Intruder

We use to attend Fallas in Valencia every year, they spend a whole year designing and planing those huge sculptures that appear all around the city. But what makes it special, is that they only stand up for some days and all of them get burn, with no exception.

It always happen one conversation when we are in Fallas.... "There are great contemporary artists and designers in Valencia, why theses amazing art pieces doesn't reflect that cultural progress?" Well, we found somebody else who thought about it.... and named it "A battle is raging even if you're not aware of it"

The project, by Miguel Arraiz & David Moreno is a structure made of hexagonal corrugated cardboard boxes. With the intention of representing a big cave, they used around 3.000 modules to build the intervention.

Good ephemeral jobs need a very special cut of artist or designer. From our point of view, it is necessary to let designer infamous ego apart, as the work is going to disappear very soon. In this case is even more dramatic, it got burn!!!
