OFFF Festival took place from 6th April to the 8th April 2017 at the Design Museum of Barcelona.
This year we won’t missed out these three days of lectures, events and workshops.OFFF Festival it’s more than a festival, the most relevant, established names in arts and design with decades in the game were invited to participate this year. Among
those, we found names such us Adam J. Kurtz, Alvaro Dominguez, Annie Atkins, Anthony Burrill, Atipus, Ben&Julia, Bram Vanhaeren, Buck, Ivan Bravo, Jonathan Harris, Lance Wyman oR Joshua Davis.
OFFF Festival it’s a combination of Offline/Online designers, Motion Designers, Thinkers, Sound Designers, Graphic Designers, Theorists, Developers, Professionals, Students…
The presentation of the Opening Title created by Outro Studio was the first day of the festival. This is a tradition at OFFF. Every year one of the first talks is the presentation of both branding and opening title for this year’s edition.
Based on the OFFF 2017 campaign, New Senses is a story about a first time experience. Outro studio had decided to represented OFFF as an essential element, a brand that provided a formula for a sensorial rebirth - everything you see, hear, taste,
touch and smell is a first time experience. The result is this moving shortfilm.
During the last day, we had the opportunity to see the premiere of the OFFF’s Main Titles. Inspired by the 1980's Tango short film by Zbigniew Rybszynski, OFFF Barcelona's 2017 Main Titles were a true beauty, it was a dreamy world of colours,
dancers and moving elements. Known for their "high class lo-fi" work profile, Vallée Duhamel duo took the challenge and decided to work on a one of kind piece to showcase the names of all the speakers who took part of this year's edition, followed by a live session of shooting 2,000 paper-planes by the audience during their talk.
